Wedding Floral Design FAQs for Dallas–Fort Worth Couples

FAQ

  • Elegant wedding banquet table with tall glass candleholders and white floral arrangements in a bright, airy hall.

How far in advance should I book my wedding florist?

We recommend booking your wedding florist 9–12 months before your big day. Popular dates fill quickly, and securing your florist early ensures you have access to the best seasonal blooms, priority on our calendar, and plenty of time to dream up and refine your floral design.

If your wedding is sooner, don’t worry—we can often accommodate shorter timelines depending on availability. The earlier you reach out, the more flexibility we’ll have to source specialty flowers and create custom pieces that bring your vision to life.

How much do wedding flowers typically cost?

Every wedding is unique, and floral costs can vary depending on the size of your bridal party, the number of arrangements, and the types of blooms you love. On average, couples invest 10–15% of their overall wedding budget in flowers and décor.

At Boujee Bloom, most of our weddings start around $3,000–$6,000, with larger, more elaborate celebrations often ranging $8,000 and above. This includes bouquets, centerpieces, ceremony installations, and statement pieces that make your wedding unforgettable.

We believe flowers should reflect your personal style, so we’ll work with you to design a proposal that matches your vision and budget, while still delivering the lush, luxury look we’re known for.

We do offer a full line of faux floral rentals for brides that want beautiful decor but floral is not a priority in your budget and can work with our clients for a mix of fresh and faux.

Do you offer consultations, and what happens during one?

Yes! We love meeting with couples to dream together about their wedding flowers. During your complimentary consultation, we’ll talk through your wedding vision, style, and must-have blooms. We’ll review your inspiration photos, discuss your color palette, and walk through key floral elements like bouquets, ceremony décor, and reception centerpieces.

This is also the perfect time to share your budget and priorities so we can create a customized proposal that balances your vision with your investment. After the consultation, you’ll receive a detailed floral design plan with mood boards, suggested flower types, and pricing to help you visualize exactly how your wedding will come to life.

Our goal is to make the process stress-free, creative, and fun—because planning your flowers should feel as beautiful as the day itself

Can I see examples of your past work or real weddings?

Of course! We believe the best way to envision your wedding flowers is to see how we’ve brought other couples’ dreams to life. You’ll find a portfolio of our favorite weddings on our portfolio page and social media galleries, featuring everything from intimate garden ceremonies to grand ballroom celebrations.

We also love sharing real wedding photos so you can see how our designs look in action—surrounded by guests, captured by professional photographers, and styled in a variety of settings. Each wedding is unique, and these galleries showcase the wide range of styles we’ve created, from timeless and classic to bold and modern.

If you’d like, we can also share specific examples during your consultation that match your venue or vision.
